Marvel Studios announced the official title of the Captain America 4 film, namely Captain America: New World Order. In the film, we will see Sam Wilson act as the new Captain America, replacing Steve Rogers. As we know, at the end of Avengers: Endgame, Steve Rogers decided to go to the past to live with Peggy Carters. But before his departure, Steve had given the title Captain America to Sam Wilson.
Well initially, Sam felt unworthy to continue the noble task of Captain America. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series also shows Sam’s confusion when carrying out this task. But after a series of events that Sam went through, he finally began to accept his new destiny. His adventure story will continue, and the latest is his adventure in Captain America: New World Order, which Marvel has confirmed.
Meaning of New World Order Title
During an interview with IGN, Julios Onah revealed the meaning behind the title Captain America: New World Order. According to Onah, the title describes what happened to Sam Wilson as Captain America. Everything Sam Wilson will face will be different, than what Steve Rogers will face.
“What does it mean? The decisions he (Sam Wilson) will have to make and the situations he will face are very different from anything Steve Rogers has ever faced. And as a result, because he was a leader, he had to make decisions that would have a big impact. So the world has changed and he has changed a lot, and I think all of that will lead to an interesting story.” Said Onah to IGN.
As the new Captain America, Sam Wilson will certainly face various threats that he never imagined. It could be that in the film, Sam Wilson has to face a villain who holds a grudge against Steve Rogers. And now is the right time for Sam to solve the problem. In addition to bringing back Sam Wilson, which Anthony played, the film will also feature several other big names such as Tim Blake Nelson, Danny Ramirez, and several other big names.
